Adrift Spring 2014

This post is brought to you by Adrift and Digital Parents Collective.

Spring has finally sprung and the weather is warming up.

We live near the water and during the warmer months we are always heading off for walks along the bay and adventures at the beach. I’m taking some time off this week for the school holidays so I’m hoping the great weather hangs around (fingers crossed).

With the warmer weather comes a change of wardrobe.

I’m putting away my coats and slowly introducing my summer outfits back. I love comfortable, convenient (no ironing) and versatile clothes. I love clothes that I can dress up to wear to work and dress down to wear to the beach. If I had to pigeon hole my style I would say I’m relaxed casual… but I’m also partial to boho and retro styles. You’re probably more likely to see me in a kaftan than a bandage dress 🙂

Adrift

So Adrift is pretty much perfect for me. Adrift has a range of beachy, boho styles in bright and beautiful colours and fabrics. To be honest I had a huge dilemma picking just one thing out of their Spring Collection (it’s almost like it was made specifically for me, I loved it all).

Adrift

Let’s face it I’m 40 cough something cough and I just feel comfortable in more relaxed styles…but I’m not dead yet so I still want bright, fashionable outfits to express my individuality 🙂

I finally chose the Adrift Cayos Dress in navy [love <3]

I’ve worn it to work. I’ve worn it on walks to the beach, and today I wore it on a cruise around Sydney Harbour on a beautiful Spring day. I just love it. It’s so comfortable and the embroidery is gorgeous.

The Adrift range is designed for me – an everyday mum who loves bright and beautiful clothes. They also have a great range of jewellery and accessories (and even homewares!) And if for some reason (not sure what) you aren’t happy with anything you purchase from Adrift, they have a super easy returns/exchange process.

I recently bought a pair of Adrift pants and they are so comfortable and cool. Perfect for Summer. I bought them from an online store then discovered Adrift has their own online store that is cheaper. Woohoo. I really want more of the pants but I LOVE the Tropicana Long Kaftan. The colours are so pretty and would really suit the North QLD summers we have up here.

Seriously? Pick just one? Im so glad your blog highlighted these clothes. Ive been looking for comfortable and stylish clothes for a while. For the most part you either look like a frump or are just not comfortable. I want to take all of these clothes home! Its been a while since i have found ONE item I like let alone a whole page of them! The one that caught my eye the most though is the Delores Dress In Ocean. The colour is just so vibrant and the style just perfect.

Ooh… I am loving the Amberley top in Lagoon, or the Panama Top in White, or so many other things!! I am also tempted by their kaftans… I am not usually much of a kaftan girl, but I like that the Adrift ones have ties under the bust to give you shape.

I love everything. Too hard to pick just one, but the Santiago Skirt is my favourite, i love the colours, and it just looks so comfortable. I can already imagine all the places I’d wear it, and the accessories id team it with. Fingers crossed…

Wow, so hard to pick just one. I love the bright colours, they make me feel all happy and carefree! I especially love the spring green. The loose flowing style is perfect for being casual in the warm weather too. If I was pushed to just one style (though I doubt I could actually contain myself to just one!), I would have to get the Doris top in Spring 🙂

  • Sharyn W
    October 15, 2014 at 10:13 am

It really is so very hard to pick just one
Though the Santiago dress in musk looks so fun
The colours are my favorite’s and are totally divine
And wearing it would make me feel so happy I would shine
I very rarely treat myself to something new
But these adrift clothes are so bright and amazing I want them all – don’t you? 🙂

When I look at all the Adrift Spring Collection the one that caputured my attention you see, is the gorgeous Cayos dress in spring. The colour is simply stunning and with it’s delicate embroided flowers, and ruffled hem, it would compliment my bright personality, and would be a talking point with friends. I could only imagine the soft fabric on my skin, so cool and calming to wear in summer and spring. I could wear this Everywhere you see, to the beach to celebrate my 16th wedding anniversary walking along the sand feeling so feminine and oh so pretty, or to a day out with girl friends on the town, so comfy and delightful, I love to wear it around. On a picnic with family would be perfect too so versatile and it would be my favourite dress that I would choose.

I LOVE the dress you chose but I won’t be a copycat so my next favourite is the Adrift Bella Dress in Navy. I wear a lot of navy as it’s a flattering colour (makes me look thinner!) I love that it’s not fitted around the tummy (my problem area) and the bright embroidery is so pretty.

Because I’m only 5 ft 4″ long dresses end up dragging on the ground; knee length dresses like the ACAPULCO DRESS IN CHILLi has instant appeal. Perfect length, cool and flowing with some bright colour for summer pizzazz. I’m loving oranges and teal green. Matching it with the gorgeous Orange Adrift Beaded Cuff Bracelet with metalic trim and a lovely pair of flats – the Adrift sandal in Cleo Tan and I’d have the perfect complete summer outfit. I love neutral coloured shoes because they go with everything and don’t take the eye from this gorgeous dress.
