Menulog – the easiest online food delivery service!

We have just moved house (believe me, you will hear much more about this over the next few weeks!).

When you’re moving the last thing you want to do is cook. There are even a few nights during the move when everything is packed and cooking is just impossible. These are the nights you get takeaway… and that’s just what we did.

Food delivery online

Menulog is an online food delivery service offering delivery or pickup options. . Menulog is super easy and free to use. With heaps of restaurants to choose from – 3500+ to be precise – it’s the best option for online takeaway.

To prove how easy it is to order your next meal online with Menulog, I have created a step-by-step guide below.

You can thank me later when your belly is full 🙂

1. First head on over to Menulog and enter your suburb or postcode, wallah! You will see a list of all available restaurants in your area (see I told you it was easy).

2. Browse all the yummy options and place your order. Menulog is great because it has lots of ways to refine your search. You can search for a particular restaurant, cuisine or even your preferred dish. If specials are your thing, you can refine your search to show different offers (10% off, meal deals, free items etc). If you’re an organised type and want to sort dinner out early, you can pre-order from restaurants that aren’t open yet. Is there anything Menulog can’t do? Well maybe the washing up 🙂

3. Select and place your order. I chose pizza -yum. Once you’ve made your selection it’s off to the checkout. This bit is easy, enter your details and proceed to the checkout…..nearly there.

5. Wait for the food to turn up at your door, or go get it if you chose pick up.

So pretty easy huh? Once I placed the order I received an SMS to confirm it had been received and just in case you were wondering the pizza was delicious.

I have soft spot for Thai cuisine.
I like the herbs that they use (basil, coriander) and the strong taste and fragrance. My sister used to work at Thai restaurant and she would bring home take away from there. That could be another reason why I like Thai food, reminder of my sister and the warmth feeling of being cared for.

I love Chinese – it’s easy, always tasty and an indulgent treat that we can’t cook at home (at least not well!). Plus, the delivery man from our favourite Chinese restaurant is the only person my two dogs don’t bark at, because they know he comes bearing complimentary prawn crackers!
