This is a recipe for snack bars I made for the kids a while back.
I got really frustrated that the kids were eating heaps of processed junk…that we were packing for them. It’s not like I want them to eat unhealthy food but sometimes it’s easier to throw together some chips, muesli bars, sandwich and a piece of fruit especially when you’re in a rush.
One weekend, when I had a bit of time, I got creating and made a sugar free (and by that I mean no refined sugar) snack bar. I made some into bars and put some into mini cupcake papers.
The kids loved them.
