I’m a big fan of Aussie Farmers. We’ve been receiving our regular Saturday delivery for a few years now.
It’s always good to know that after a busy week, bright and early Saturday morning we have fresh milk, bread, eggs and cheese (just to name a few things) delivered straight to our door.
What’s even better is Aussie Farmers support Aussie Farmers – makes sense right?
So I was pretty excited to hear about Weight Watchers teaming up with Aussie Farmers to bring us the WW Freshbox. Designed by Weight Watchers nutrition experts, the nourishing box is filled with enough fresh, Australian ingredients to make five SmartPoints™-friendly recipes and is delivered directly to your doorstep. This is really convenient for busy people and families as it takes the stress and hassle out of meal planning. With the WW Freshbox you can also be guaranteed the meals are delicious and nutritious.
According to Weight Watchers research, about two thirds of Australians are confused about the sheer amount of health and diet information available. With almost half of the country admitting they would eat healthier if they knew exactly what to eat, the WW freshbox aims to make healthy eating easier.
“WW freshbox ties in perfectly with our Program, WW Your Way, which encourages Aussies to live a more holistic lifestyle and fall in love with real food again. The WW freshbox uniquely allows you to cook with 100% fresh produce in your own kitchen, with easy-to-follow, nutritionally balanced recipes based on the successful SmartPoints™ system. Our mission is to help Australians prepare healthy, fresh meals, easily.”Weight Watchers Director of Marketing and Commercial Business, Tony Karras.
“The WW freshbox contains wholesome, fresh produce from Australian farmers, making it easier than ever for Aussies to eat fresh food on a daily basis. Not only will it appeal to Weight Watchers members, but also anyone wanting to ensure their family is eating healthier.” Aussie Farmers Direct CEO, Keith Louie
After a successful pilot program in Brisbane in March 2016, WW freshbox is now available to customers in New South Wales and Victoria, with South Australia and Western Australia to follow in the coming months. For five meals per week, couples boxes sell for just $79, and family boxes $139.
